Keep the Bald Eagle Soaring

After nearly being driven to extinction in the last century, America's national bird has made a remarkable recovery. That is thanks to the ban on the toxic pesticide DDT and the 1973 passage of the Endangered Species Act. Unfortunately, there are some in the Bush administration who are working to weaken protections for bald eagles and other wildlife.
